About Passalong

Passalong is the Pioneer Valley's neighbor exchange: a place to pass along what your household is done with, find what you need, and keep good things out of the landfill.

A lot of the valley's passing along happens on email lists, where every post mails photos to every inbox and nobody can search by size. Passalong gives that exchange a proper home: one link per item, a Gone button, and search by size and town. The lists can go back to being communities.

How it works

• Post something free, for sale, or wanted. Add a photo, your town, and a size for kids' things.
• Share the link anywhere: the parents list, a text, a group chat.
• Neighbors ask, and you choose who gets it. Replies come by email.
• Tap Pending, then Gone, and everyone who opens the link sees it's spoken for.
• Listings tidy themselves away after two weeks unless you renew them.

Free, and staying that way

Passalong is free to use, with no ads and no selling of anyone's information. Running costs are small, and we plan to cover them through public reuse and waste-reduction programs, not users.

Who runs it

Passalong is made in the Pioneer Valley by Kairos Studios LLC. Email help@passalong.us to reach us.
