What to include

• your physical or electronic signature
• the work you believe is copied
• the link to the listing
• your address, phone number and email
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by you, your agent or the law
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner

What happens next

We remove the listing promptly and tell the poster. A poster who believes the removal was a mistake can send a counter-notice to the same agent, and we follow the process in 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

We close the accounts of people who repeatedly post material that is the subject of valid notices.
